Brockton’s Acting Police Chief Hit by Car While Cycling
A driver on Route 228 in Hingham struck Brockton’s interim Police Chief Robert Hayden while the officer was riding his bicycle, according to The Brockton Enterprise.
The Enterprise reports:
Sgt. Steven Dearth said Hayden was taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Dearth said he didn’t have any information about the extent of his injuries and the hospital refused to disclose his condition.
