Reports: Person Struck By Lightning in Lexington
A person was “conscious and alert’’ after being struck by lightning at the Lexington Golf Course, police told The Boston Globe.
That person was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the Globe.
Also in Lexington, a Tufts Street home caught fire after it was hit by lightning, according to WHDH-TV, which reported the fire has been put out.
Storms were in the forecast for Wednesday, according to meteorologist Dave Epstein.
