Uncle Collapses at Jeremiah Oliver Vigil
An uncle of deceased 5-year-old Jeremiah Oliver collapsed Saturday evening during a vigil outside his nephew’s home, according to the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise. Sandrino Oliver was taken away by ambulance after falling and convulsing at the scene of the vigil.

Earlier Saturday afternoon, Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early identified the body of a boy found along I-190 in Sterling as Jeremiah Oliver, according to several media outlets. The body was wrapped inside of a “suitcase-like object’’ found about 40 feet off the highway, according to Early.
Jeremiah had been missing since September. His mother, Elsa Oliver, and her boyfriend, Alberto Sierra Jr., were arrested in December and charged with assault and child endangerment. An attorney for Elsa Oliver toldThe Boston Globe there have been no new charges made against her.
More than 150 people joined the impromptu vigil, according to Worcester Telegram & Gazette reporter Nick Kostopoulos.
