Report: MIT Frat Suspended for ‘Inappropriate Behavior’
MIT’s Delta Upsilon has been suspended until 2016 by the fraternity’s international organization following an investigation into inappropriate behavior, according to a report in MIT’s The Tech newspaper.
Additionally, MIT has withdrawn recognition of the fraternity, according to the newspaper, which cited a press release from the university’s student-life department:

IAP stands for MIT’s Independent Activities Period — a four-week term held each January.
The suspension is effective immediately, according to the newspaper.
