Judge: Tsarnaev Can See Family Without FBI Present; Allowed to See Autopsy Photos

A judge has ruled that Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be allowed to meet with family members without being monitored by an FBI agent, according to a Boston Globe report.

The decision came despite prosecution argument that agents were necessary for security reasons, the Globe reported.

Judge O’Toole also ruled that Tsarnaev will be allowed to see autopsy photos of the marathon bombing victims, according to an NBC News report.

This hearing was the first time Tsarnaev’s attorneys and prosecutors had been face-to-face in a courtroom since Feb. 12.

The trial is currently set to begin in November.
