Man dies after shooting in South Boston
A man was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center after being shot in South Boston Wednesday night, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of West Fifth and Dorchester streets at 7:56 p.m., Boston police said. The male victim’s name was not released. The homicide unit is investigating the shooting, police said. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 617-343-4470.
