Man suffers life-threatening injuries in South Boston shooting
A man was shot and suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday evening in South Boston, police said. Boston police responded just before 8 p.m. to the shooting on West Fifth Street near Dorchester Street. The adult male victim was taken to Boston Medical Center,
said police spokesman James Kenneally. A homicide unit was sent to the scene due to the seriousness of the victim’s condition, police said. No further information was immediately available.
