Bauman told the Associated Press that the baby is due in July and the couple plans a 2015 wedding.

In what has become an iconic image from the attacks, Carlos Arredondo was seen wheeling an injured Bauman to safety.

While in the hospital, Bauman gave information to authorities as they tried to identify those responsible for the bombings. Bauman and Arredondo were invited to attend President Obama’s State of the Union speech in January.
