Man suffers life-threatening injuries in stabbing in South Boston
A man was stabbed and suffered life-threatening injuries in South Boston Friday night, police said. The victim was stabbed in the vicinity of 10 Gates St. shortly before 9 p.m., said Officer Neva Coakley, a police spokeswoman. The man was taken to Boston Medical Center, police said. Coakley said a person was arrested nearby, but she was not sure if the arrest was related to the stabbing. Homicide detectives are investigating, Coakley said.
