Conn. flight to Montreal makes emergency Vt. landing
An Air Canada Express made an emergency landing at Rutland-Southern Vermont Regional Airport Friday. The Rutland Herald reported that the plane, a Beech 1900 turboprop, developed an engine problem after takeoff from Hartford and landed at about 8:20 Friday morning. The paper reported that the plane was heading to Montreal with four passengers and two crewmembers. No injuries were reported. Calls to Air Canada and the Rutland airport manager were not immediately returned Friday.
