Ride4Cops honors Collier, fallen officers

The event was part of Ride4Cops, an initiative dedicated to raising money to help the families of fallen officers.

A memorial service held to honor police officers killed in the line of duty took place at the Massachusetts State House on August 17.

The ride began in Cambridge at MIT, where a single rose was placed at the spot where Officer Sean Collier died. Collier was shot on April 18, allegedly by Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother while they attempted to flee the city.
