Prosecutors turn over video to Hernandez’s attorney

Prosecutors have turned over to attorneys for Aaron Hernandez surveillance video from outside a Boston nightclub where the former New England Patriot and his friend allegedly had a dispute a few days before his friend’s killing. Defense attorney James Sultan says he received a ‘‘substantial amount’’ of material Monday. Prosecutors turned most of it over ahead of a brief hearing in Attleboro District Court on preserving the evidence. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to a chiarge of murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old Boston semiprofessional football player whose body was found June 17 near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough. Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd’s killing because he was upset with him for talking to some people at the club a few nights before Lloyd was killed.
