Selectmen concerned over flight path

Concerned over new flight paths that would direct more planes over Canton, selectmen sent a letter to Boston Logan Airport’s project manager, Terry English, to ask for a thorough review of the plan. The letter said that a proposed departure route for Logan Runway 33L would harm Canton and neighboring communities due to added noise and environmental impacts from a big increase in airplane traffic. In addition to asking for a review, the letter requests an extension of the comment period to allow for full community participation.
