Missing Dorchester 12-year-old boy with Asperger’s located safe after frantic search

A frantic all-day search in the bitter cold for a missing 12-year-old Dorchester boy with Asperger’s syndrome
ended happily Tuesday night after authorities located him safely at a Dunkin’ Donuts shop in Egleston Square, police said. The boy was being dropped off at the bus stop Tuesday morning when he fled after an argument with his mother, said David Estrada, a police spokesman. His mother reported him missing around 9 a.m. and the boy was not located until just before 11 p.m. He was taken to Boston Medical Center for evaluation, but appeared unharmed, said Estrada.
