School Superintendent Carol Johnson taps two for executive team
School Superintendent Carol R. Johnson has made her first appointments to her new executive team, promoting two longtime employees. Joe Shea, who is currently an academic superintendent overseeing elementary schools, will become deputy superintendent for operations. Eileen Nash, principal of the Beethoven and Ohrenberger Schools, will become deputy superintendent for individualized learning and will oversee programs for special education and English-language learners. Both administrators will start their duties soon. Johnson unveiled a new structure for her executive team Wednesday.
