Street art installed at Rogers Foam building
The work of nine artists has been installed on the side panels of the Rogers Foam building on Vernon Street. The murals are intended to make the building identifiable as an art space to passersby, according to an announcement from Vernon Street Studios, which is located in the building. The works are created by artists at the studio and can be seen from the side of the building facing Central Street. Heather Balchunas, Michelle Carter, Nicole Duennebier, David Fallon, Andrew Fish, Jen Fuchel, Tova Speter, Gee Wong, and Dorothy Zarren all contributed to the project. A dedication ceremony will be held Sunday at 11:30 a.m. on Central Street.
