Man, boy hurt in collision with truck in Quincy
A 40-year-old Quincy man and his 8-year-old son were killed Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a dump truck near Granite Links Golf Club. Quincy police said Thomas Coffey and his son were on Ricciuti Drive when they crashed into the truck as it was turning.
The boy’s mother arrived on the scene and was brought to the hospital where her son was taken. Police said the driver of the truck cooperated with the investigation and has not been cited.
