Employee satisfaction apps aren’t just for the high-tech
Top Places to Work 2015
Employees can now deliver feedback to their boss anonymously and with the touch of a button on their smartphone.
A new app called TINYpulse allows managers to get feedback from their employees almost constantly.
Staff can use the system to share their thoughts, grievances, and thank-you’s in real-time. The app’s Seattle-based developers say the goal is to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover.

Locally, The Boston Globe reports TINYpulse has been adopted by some high-profile clients, including Cambridge-based inbound marketing software firm HubSpot. But less tech-focused businesses, like Keohane Funeral Home in Quincy, also started using the app. Keohane co-president John Keohane explained how the app has helped his company.
