Nomination Letters – VA Boston Healthcare System, Jamaica Plain Campus
Mary Mulligan
On my three-month visit to the Dermatology Department of the VA in Jamaica Plain, I was told I had a problem with “poor Irish skin.’’ I had a rupture on my chest that
needed to be taken care of. Mary changed her schedule and took care of its removal herself. I needed quick action as I was going to Florida at the end of December and a two-month delay was not in my best interest. Nurse Mulligan responded to my needs without hesitating. Just an example of her great care for an old marine like myself.
