Nomination Letters – Personal R.N.
Julie Madden
I was dog-sitting while my daughter and her husband went on vacation in January, 1913. I was walking the dog when she suddenly started to chase after an animal. I held the leash and she dragged me along the bushes by my driveway. I was knocked out cold. I have been sick for over a year and had a hip replacement, a broken wrist, and other problems. Julie started to come visit me several times a week in April, 2013. She crushed my medicines because I cannot swallow them. She washed my hair, showered me, and did my laundry. She has been a very good nurse and I so appreciate her being with me.
