These wonderful nurses not only work, attend school, and care for families, but they also fulfill clinical practicum hours in commitment and service to the underserved. As some of our most vulnerable members of society, their patients include US veterans, elderly citizens, children and young adults, non-English speaking citizens, and others disabled in a variety of ways. To witness their acts of kindness and compassion as they advocate for these underserved citizens is inspiring and reminds me that one person can truly make a difference in the life of another. Thank you.
