Nomination Letters – Emerson Hospital
All the Nurses in the ICU
This is to nominate the nurses of the ICU unit at Emerson Hospital. Even though each patient is assigned a nurse at each shift, they all know what’s going on in the entire unit. My wife was in the hospital for six weeks and the nurses all worked around my schedule. When I would leave at lunch they would come in and take care of my wife’s personal needs (bathe her and change her linens). At the beginning of each shift, the nurse who was assigned to my wife would come in and make sure I knew which nurse would take care of her next. They would tell me to call them for any questions or concerns, no matter what.
