Glassdoor published a report detailing the top companies with the best business outlook — all according to their employees. How are they ranked? Employees themselves answered, “Do you believe your company’s business outlook will get better, stay the same, or worsen in the next six months?”

10. The Home Depot

At the home renovation superstore, 61 percent of employees think the business outlook will improve, while 32% think it will stay the same.

9. Whole Foods

Ten percent of Whole Foods employees who responded to the survey said they think the business outlook will worsen in the next half of the year. But 62 percent think can only go up.

8. GM

GM tops the list of the least optimistic employees: 14 percent think the company’s outlook will worsen.

The supermarket that was founded in 1930 has a 64 percent improvement outlook rate from employees.

6. Tata Consultancy Services

TCS has some satisfied employees. Only four percent think the company’s outlook will decrease in the next six months.

Amazon garnered a rate of 23 percent from employees who think the company will stay the same.

SAP bumps up the employee satisfaction. On a scale of one to five, with five being the best, the enterprise software and software-related services company received a 4.1 company rating, based on employee reviews.

Yahoo employees are pretty cheerful. None of the employees who responded to the survey think the company’s business outlook will worsen before the end of 2013.

Qualcomm, the designer and supplier of wireless technology, has 76 percent of employees thinking their business outlook will get better.

It shouldn’t be too difficult to search for the company with the best business outlook according to employees. Google has 86 percent of employees who think the outlook will improve, none think it will worse, and 14 percent predict it will stay the same — the lowest number on the list.
