Cara Martinelli
I am a visiting nurse practitioner and Cara is an RN at Ellis, where my practice is affiliated. Cara is respectful of everyone: parents, family, peers, and staff. She has a sense of humor that puts all at ease. She always puts our needs ahead of her own, and never appears rushed or distracted. What makes her stand out is her compassionate care for the dying, which to her is sacred. She treats all with the utmost reverence and dignity. There is little glamour in this work, but I hope you will recognize this outstanding and beloved nurse.
