Boston’s skyline has changed dramatically over the years, and will continue to do so: the 52-story Copley Tower Plaza has been in the works for seven years, though construction still hasn’t begun. In the meantime, take a look at how the city’s silhouette has grown, from the days when the Custom House was the tallest building in town (from 1915–1964, at 496 feet) to after the John Hancock Tower persevered through a shakey construction.
