Belmont’s Animal Control Officer John Maguranis will give a talk on July 17in Stoneham called “Living with Coyotes.’’ His presentation will cover coyotes’ natural behavior, habits, diet and how to identify them, as well as tips for pet and human safety and myths and facts about the animals. Maguranis, who also photographs coyotes, will share some of his pictures. He’ll describe the origin and history of the coyote. Maguranis is the Massachusetts representative for Project Coyote,a national coalition of scientists and educators working to promote coexistence between people and coyotes. He has held more than 100 public and private presentations about living with coyotes. The talk will be held on July 17, from 7 to 9 p.m.at the Botume Houseat 4 Woodland Rd. The talk is being presented by the Middlesex Fells Dog Owner Group.
