Boston hospitals are adjusting services as they, too, are victims of the worldwide tech outage that has disrupted flights, banks, media outlets and companies.

Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital have canceled all previously scheduled non-urgent surgeries, procedures, and medical visits.

All three hospitals, which are members of Mass General Brigham, remain open to patients with urgent health concerns in clinics and emergency departments.

The hospitals are continuing to care for all patients currently receiving care.

“We have dedicated every available resource to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our patients,” said Mass General Brigham in a statement. “It is our highest priority to ensure that our patients receive the safest care possible.”

A hospital spokesperson said that Tufts Medical Center is aware of the global IT disruption and remains in close contact with the vendor. The hospital is operating under an “emergency management structure” as it awaits resolution, but remains open and said it can provide safe patient care.

A spokesperson for Boston Medical Center said the hospital is not experiencing any clinical impacts and is fully operational.

A hospital spokesperson said Boston Children’s Hospital is also unaffected by the disruption. Operations are continuing as usual.

Beth Israel Lahey Health announced that its locations are open and providing patient care. They ask that patients arrive for scheduled appointments unless they hear from a care team member.

“Our teams are working to resolve the impacts of a global technology outage, and there may be delays,” a statement from Beth Israel Lahey Health said. “We appreciate your patience.”
