Boston Public Schools announces Friday snow day with winter weather coming

The city is expected to get 6 to 8 inches of accumulation, mostly Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday is officially a snow day for Boston Public Schools students, the district announced on Twitter Thursday.
