E. Greenwich educator named R.I. teacher of the year
A computer education teacher from East Greenwich High School known for bringing lessons from the business world into the classroom has been named Rhode Island’s teacher of the year. Patricia Page taught third grade in East Greenwich before moving to the high school three years ago. She also mentors students who participate in state and national finance and investment competitions. Education Commissioner Deborah Gist said Page is known as a teacher who strives to give students real-world tools they need to succeed.
