Carbon monoxide forces evacuation of Tolland school
Tolland High School was evacuated Friday after carbon monoxide was detected inside the building. State Police Lieutenant J. Paul Vance said officers responded to the alarm Friday morning, along with local authorities. Fire officials said several ambulances were sent to the school as a precaution, and several people reported feeling ill, but no serious injuries were reported.
