Part-time community college faculty protest
Part-time faculty members from New Hampshire’s community college system say they have gone too long without a labor contract. The educators held an informational picketing session Monday at Manchester Community College. They said it has been more than two years since an overwhelming majority of adjunct faculty voted to form a union, but they are still waiting for their first contract. After months of meetings, the parties reached an impasse, and the process has gone to mediation.
