The promotion includes a Newbury Street location on Tuesday.
Quick, call your buddy Dewey.
Dunkin’ Donuts is giving out a free medium hot coffee to the first 500 customers at specific locations this week.
The deal begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the 270 Newbury St. location in Boston and at 7 a.m. that morning at the 109 Daniel Webster Highway location in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Locations in Hartford, Connecticut; Providence, Rhode Island; and Vermont are also participating in the promotion, which runs nationwide through Friday and supports the Dunkin’ Brands’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
As part of the campaign, Dunkin’ Donuts is donating a total of $15,000—$1,000 for each participating market—to the foundation, which benefits children’s hospitals, food banks, and nonprofit organizations directly committed to serving sick and hungry kids.
The full list of locations participating in the giveaway can be viewed on the Dunkin’ Donuts website.
Concurrently, the Canton-based chain is promoting a weekly, themed Instagram photo sweepstakes. According to a press release, five winners will receive a month’s supply of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, and one grand-prize winner will receive a year’s worth.
