A daytime shooting rattled downtown Haverhill on Thursday, damaging property but injuring no one.
According to Haverhill police, the shooting took place in the area of Emerson and Welcome streets at around 11:30 a.m.
Officers found numerous shell casings in the area and saw property damage.
Four people from Haverhill have been arrested in connection with the shooting: Riley Quinn, 18, Timothy Mossey, 18, Richard Santana, 25, and Juan Figueroa, 23.
All four men were arraigned in Haverhill District Court on Friday and are facing multiple firearms and assault charges. The court held all four men pending dangerousness hearings.
Quinn and Mossey will return for a detention hearing on April 24, while Santana and Figueroa are set for a detention hearing on April 27.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Bill Symonovit told 7News that he was sitting in his parked SUV when he found himself dodging bullets, several of which hit his car.
“I can’t believe I didn’t get hit,” he said.
