A Watertown man is facing charges after allegedly exposing himself inside two businesses on Main Street in Stoneham, authorities said.
Stoneham police responded March 22 to a report that a man had exposed himself to an employee inside a local store, according to a statement from the Stoneham Police Department.
An investigation determined the same man had also exposed himself at another business on Main Street that same day, police said. Police did not release the name of the businesses involved in the incidents, although WCVB reported that one of the incidents occurred at a Michaels craft store.
Police identified the subject as Andrey Pavlov, 44. He was arrested Friday in Watertown and charged with open and gross lewdness, according to police.
Pavlov was arraigned Friday in Woburn District Court, where he pleaded not guilty, according to court records.
“I would like to acknowledge the diligent work of our detectives who worked tirelessly to identify and apprehend this suspect,” Stoneham Police Chief James O’Connor said in a statement. “We would like to thank Watertown Police for their assistance throughout this investigation.”
