Boston police are investigating after a person was stabbed near Northeastern University Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the reported stabbing at 291 St. Botolph St. at 8:19 a.m., a Boston Police Department spokesperson confirmed. A Northeastern dorm is located at that address, according to the school’s website

The injured person was rushed to a local hospital; their condition was not immediately clear.

Northeastern spokesperson Renata Nyul clarified the assault happened off-campus near the corner of Huntington Avenue and Gainsborough Street.
