Juvenile injured in Allston shooting

No arrests have been made, police said.

Boston police are investigating a shooting that left a person under 18 injured Thursday evening in Allston.

Officers from the Brighton/Allston district responded to a report of a shooting near 222 Brighton Ave. around 6:45 p.m., according to a statement from the Boston Police Department. 

Upon arrival, officers found the victim at 10 Allston St. suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. 

The victim was taken to a local hospital and was being treated for injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, according to police. 

The shooter fled the scene. No arrests have been made, police said.
