A woman has been arrested for an alleged assault and battery incident at North Station on Thursday, according to MBTA Transit Police.
The woman allegedly pushed another woman onto the Green Line tracks in an “unprovoked” attack, The Boston Globe reported.
Nyleamah Kinsey, 50, was charged with assault and battery of a person over 60 and disorderly conduct, according to court documents.
Kinsey reportedly followed the victim, who is from Revere, into the station, before pushing her with both hands onto the tracks. Kinsey then tried to pull the woman off the tracks but ran out of the station when other passengers came to help the victim, who was unconscious, according to the Globe.
The victim, who suffered temporary memory loss, was reportedly treated for a laceration to the back of her head and a torn left rotator cuff. Police said Kinsey was involved in an alleged assault in Porter Square station two days prior, the Globe reported.
Kinsey pleaded not guilty to all charges in Boston Municipal Court on Monday and was being held in Suffolk County Jail on $15,000 bail, according to court documents.
She is set to reappear in court for a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 5.
