The Worcester Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying and finding multiple suspects connected to a series of unarmed robberies.
Police shared images of the two suspects and their vehicles in a Facebook post Wednesday. The suspects allegedly targeted elderly victims in the robberies.
In all cases, the suspects drove up to elderly people walking on the side of the street and started talking to them, according to police. Then, while the victim was distracted, the suspects would remove jewelry from around their neck before fleeing.
Anyone who has information about the suspects or a similar incident is urged to contact Worcester police detectives at 508-799-8651. Anonymous text messages can also be sent by texting “TIPWPD” to 274637.
