Officials identified the two victims of an apparent murder-suicide in Beverly Monday night as a 58-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man.
Becky Lynn Center and John Patrick Nesbitt were both found dead at a home on Colonial Drive on Monday, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday night.
Police responded to the home around 9:40 p.m. Monday night, the DA and Beverly police previously announced. Nesbitt and Center were pronounced dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
Officials previously said the incident is “being viewed by investigators as an apparent murder-suicide.”
Beverly police, Massachusetts State Police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating the deaths.
