Woman killed Monday in Roxbury daytime shooting
The woman died at a nearby hospital shortly after the shooting.
A woman was killed in a daytime shooting in Roxbury on Monday.
Boston police received a report of a person being shot near 1855 Washington St. around 1:07 p.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she later died, police say.
The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
