Mass. teen facing assault with dangerous weapon charges in road rage incident near high school

A 19-year-old is facing charges in a road rage incident near Dedham High School on Monday afternoon.

Around 3:38 p.m., Dedham police responded to a report of a fight in the roadway of Whiting Avenue. The incident occurred near the high school but was unrelated to it, police said.

Officers were told that the fight happened after a road rage incident. One person involved had a laceration on their hand from the incident, and medical personnel treated them at the scene.

Officers arrested a 19-year-old Dedham man, who is facing charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
