Boy, 14, shot in Brockton
The teenage boy was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
A 14-year-old boy was shot in Brockton on Sunday evening, according to police.
Brockton police received a report of a teenager being injured from a shooting near Francis Street and Manners Avenue around 6:47 p.m.
A silver vehicle was seen fleeing the scene, police say.
The victim was transported to a local hospital via ambulance with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
