MBTA police searching for alleged subway spitter, also accused of assaulting woman
Both of the incidents, which happened about 15 minutes apart, were unprovoked, police said.
MBTA Transit Police are seeking the public’s help identifying an accused subway spitter.
The woman allegedly spit on one rider and assaulted a 69-year-old woman. Both incidents occurred without provocation and about 15 minutes apart on July 14 around 4:30 p.m at the Downtown Crossing station, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 617-222-1050; reports can be anonymous.
