A man was arrested on Thursday after allegedly groping a Northeastern student while on a jog, according to an email alerting students of the incident.
Northeastern University police received a call at 4:50 p.m. reporting a groping outside of the university’s EXP building on Columbus Avenue, according to officials.
The victim was a Northeastern student who reported that a man groped her as she jogged by, authorities said.
University and Boston police used video evidence to identify and later arrest the suspect, according to the statement. The name of the suspect and the charges he faced have not been released at this time.
Northeastern police reminded students to remain aware of their surroundings and avoid walking alone in the email.
