15-year-old boy dies from injuries days after Allston shooting

Police are asking the public to share information to aid in the investigation.

A 15-year-old boy shot on Thursday, June 12, in Allston has died as a result of his injuries, according to the Boston Police Department.

At around 8:10 p.m. that Thursday, officers received a call for a person shot in the area of 17A Gordon St. When officers arrived, they found the boy outside 7 Pomeroy St. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Boston EMS transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, June 17, police said.

The Boston Police Department says the cause and manner of his death are pending with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. The department requests that anyone with information contact the unit at 617-343-4470.
