An individual was arrested after a man was fatally shot during a domestic incident in Worcester Wednesday night, Worcester police said.

Police received a report of a person shot on Beacon Street around 7:36 p.m. Wednesday, Worcester police spokesperson Joseph Cersosimo said in a statement.

The man, who was not identified, was “rushed to the hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased,” Cersosimo said.

A suspect was arrested, Cersosimo said, but didn’t share any additional details because the incident was domestic.
