A 37-year-old registered sex offender was arrested Monday after allegedly filming a woman in a fitting room at a Target in Wareham.
Gregory Mattos, of Mashpee, allegedly held his cellphone over the stall door while the woman was changing and recorded her. According to local police, Target security provided officers a description of the suspect, who left on a moped, and Mattos was soon apprehended on Main Street.
He was charged with photographing an unsuspecting nude person and was released on cash bail with an arraignment set for Tuesday.
Mattos “has been involved in similar incidents in the past,” police said.
