Police searching for man wanted in South Boston attempted kidnapping

The incident happened early Sunday morning.

Boston police have put out an alert as they search for Adam McCree, a 28-year-old Dorchester man wanted for attempted kidnapping and assault and battery stemming from an incident early Sunday morning in South Boston.

Police didn’t give out details of the incident, other than to say it happened at about 4:37 a.m. They said McCree has multiple warrants out of Boston and New York and he may have fled to New York. McCree is described as a 5-foot-7 Black man with brown eyes, black hair, and a thin build. He has a tattoo on his neck of prayer hands.
