Transit police release photos of suspect in Red Line gunfire incident

No one was injured when shots were fired on the Harvard Square Red Line platform Sunday afternoon.

MBTA Transit Police is asking the public to help identify a suspect believed to have fired multiple shots on the Harvard Square Red Line platform Sunday.

Transit police shared photos on X Sunday night following shots being fired in the station, which left no one injured. A preliminary investigation showed that the suspect shot four to five rounds at a “targeted individual.”

The public can report relevant information anonymously to the police’s criminal investigation unit at 617-222-1050.
