Two men died after they were found shot in a Springfield home Wednesday, police said.
At about 5:40 a.m., Springfield Police officers responded to a home on Hebron Street for a reported shooting, Ryan Walsh, the department’s public information officer, wrote on X.
On arrival, officers found two adult male gunshot victims in the home. The victims were taken to Baystate Medical Center, where they both succumbed to their injuries, Walsh wrote.
The Springfield Police Department’s homicide unit and the Hampden District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident, according to Walsh.
Police urged anyone with information to call them at 413-787-6355 or use the anonymous Text-A-Tip hotline at “CRIMES” (274637).
